How to be happy is a question many people ask themselves. With everything you see in the media these days, about all the awful things happening in the world, you may find happiness elusive. You would probably like to rise above the problems that the world offers. So, what are the keys to happiness?
One of the keys to happiness is to let go of your continuous concentration on those things in your life that are not pleasing you. Many of you know how to be happy
... but the negative feelings have been getting in the way of achieving what you most want.
If you truly want to choose to be happy, the use of the power of positive affirmations is one very effective method to assist you to achieve this result. Here are some affirmations that may aid you:
Look at the concepts in the affirmations above. The things that you would like in your life are what these affirmations are about. You may create your own affirmations.
Use the example above to string together concepts that reflect what you want in your life... and create a series of affirmations. As you look at the words you are using you may be better able to get ideas on how to be happy. Think about what you most want and put those words into the affirmations. Just remember to keep your words positive.
During the time that you are putting your concentration onto affirmations... for that period of time you are taking your concentration off thinking any other thoughts. This is an excellent way to move towards thinking positive thoughts ... especially if your thoughts have been about those things in your life that are less than pleasant.
If you want to learn how to be happy... the first step to aid yourself to be happy now is to think happy thoughts. All of you know from experience that it is easy to dwell on the negative side of life.
When life has been offering you unpleasant things... and this may happen to all of you at times ... it becomes difficult to find ways to be happy.
When you think negatively, people around may be intolerant, and tell you to snap out of it... but its not that easy is it?
By changing your thoughts bit by bit... you may work out how to be happy. Gradually you will achieve the results you want... and be happy now. It is not possible to go from thinking miserable thoughts to immediately thinking happy thoughts.
TheAbraham Hicks books provide excellent information on this concept... and this series written by Esther and Jerry Hicks are some of the best Law of Attraction books you can read.
In their book called "Ask And It Is Given" ... Abraham explains very well how you can move your thoughts... gradually... from that negative place to a point where your thoughts are positive.
Perhaps you have been thinking about those things in your life that do not please you. But if you change the direction of your thoughts you may find lots of reasons to be happy. Take action and concentrate your thoughts predominantly on how to be happy. As you concentrate your thoughts on ways to be happy... you will achieve the result that you require.
This way of thinking has been labeled "Being a Pollyanna" after the stories about a little girl who always looked on the bright side of life. Children find this concept easier... but all of us can take a leaf out of their book.
To help you to move your thoughts onto reasons to be happy... I suggest that you do a meditation daily while you hold crystals in your hand.
There are some lovely crystals that may assist you to experience positive feelings. Holding a piece of Rose Quartz crystal, or the deeper pink Strawberry Rose Quartz
in your hands can be a beautiful experience. These lovely pink crystals resonate positive love feelings into the environment.
The specific chakra stones for the heart chakra epitomize feeling good vibrations... especially the vibration of love. The more you are able to concentrate your feelings on what you desire in your life, the more likely it is that you will discover how to be happy.
This is why so many natural healers use these stones in quartz crystal healing. If your major aim is to learn how to be happy... it is important that your vibrations are brought to a place where these feeling can be experienced more easily.
I personally have one of these lovely pink stones in every room... and if possible create a grid... by placing one in each corner of the room. In the bedroom where you want to be able to sleep in an environment of positive love vibrations... grid the room... then also put one on the bedside and within any other furniture pieces to raise the level of energy.
Feeling self love will move you faster towards your goal of a happy life. Allow yourself to feel that you are worthy of being loved. As you begin to feel self love it will be easier to work out how to be happy. The more you begin thinking happy thoughts... the faster you will find your life improves. It is like a snow ball rolling down hill... gathering the positive vibrations as it goes.

Lilac Lepidolite is a crystal which contains natural lithium so it allows you to release anxiety or depression. Doing meditation with any of these stones... and especially any of the heart chakra stones will assist you to release any anxiety or negativity that you have been holding onto. Anything that may have been preventing you from getting to a point of feeling happiness within your total being.
Keep any of these crystals within your aura as long as possible. Wear them as jewelry if you like or obtain a tumblestone of one of these crystals. Having a simple tumblestone in your pocket may help... by keeping the vibration close to you.
There was a well known song around a few years ago and many of us sung it. Its words were easy to remember and it had a catchy tune. The "Don't Worry Be Happy" song ... should have made us all feel good.
Did it have that effect on the people who were singing it? Feelings of happiness should have flowed out of us as we sung it. But many of began to worry instead. How could that be? This is because the universe has a problem with the word "don't". It recognizes positive words and ignores negative words like "don't".
As you work out how to be happy... you may determine that the best action is to simply decide to be happy. Work towards this aim... using crystals as tools to aid you on your journey.
