Oligoclase are fairly uncommon stones, that will help you to gain feelings of trust in the way your life is unfolding.

They have a number of excellent healing properties but in particular may assist the healing of fractures of the wrist or hand.

They have a calming energy that helps stress, tension and anxiety so are useful in the bedroom.

Where Is It Found? Oligoclase Meaning

Oligoclase is in the plagioclase feldspar family and it is a high sodium feldspar that has a similar mineral make-up to both Albite and Anorthite.

The meaning of the name of this stone came from two Greek words. The first was an ancient Greek word oligos meaning 'little' and and the second was klân meaning 'to break'.

This related to the fact that it seemed to have less perfect cleavage than Albite, which it was similar to.

Albite, Sunstone, Moonstone and Larvikite are all stones in the plagioclase feldspar group. As these crystals are members of the feldspar family, they may have some similar metaphysical properties with other types of feldspar.

It is found in igneous and metamorphic rock and occurs in a number of colors and while it is often white, it may have inclusions of other colors including red, pink, yellow, gray or green shades.

It also occurs as clear glassy crystals, and it's structure is often in the massive form and as veins and grains.

The colorless transparent stone commonly comes from Bakersville in North Carolina, in the United States and this stone is sometimes made into faceted gemstones.

This is not a common stone, but is also found in Norway in veins as well as in Sweden, Portugal, Kenya, Sri Lanka, India, Canada, Brazil and in Fine, New York in the United States.

Why Would You Use It?

Oligoclase are good stones to use in meditation as they may boost spiritual growth and learning, and help to connect with Spirit guides and teachers in spirit.

They resonates within the higher chakras and this may enhance journeys in the higher realms and may assist you to make a stronger link to your higher self.

If you have been investigating past lives, they may be helpful to assist you, as they may ease your travels and may help you to find and access the akashic records.

They are strong third eye chakra crystals that commonly stimulate the growth of your intuition and may boost psychic abilities.

They have a particularly good action within the crown chakra where they work to boost mental clarity and encourage clearer thinking.

They help to balance your energy and by stabilizing your yin-yang or male female energy may help to stop any fluctuations occurring within your auric field.

They are good crystals to increase the level of happiness you feel, through their action to soothe any instability within your energy field that can cause unease and unhappiness.

The healing properties of Oligoclase are particularly known to help the healing of fractures and in particular may aid fractures of the hands including broken wrists.

I first got a piece of this stone when I broke my wrist as I was told that its healing action specifically relates to their action to help the healing of breaks of the hand or wrist.

You may find that keeping it under your pillow may assist your overall well being and may bring better sleep, and at the same time may help the healing of your fractures.

Oligoclase are also good crystals to release feelings of anger. They may help you to let go of any feelings of anger you might feel regarding the circumstances of your bone break, that may be holding back your healing.

They have a calming energy that is known to release stress, anxiety and depression, and they are also said to help fertility and may help to reduce pain.

They are also purported to be beneficial to help the skin and muscles and may reduce body hair, which is quite unique and sounds advantageous.

My Final Thoughts: How Will It Help You? 

Oligoclase are good solar plexus or power chakra stones that help to enhance your self esteem and self confidence and may bring improved self worth.

They help you when you are working on goal setting and may help to bring clarity to your thinking and allow you to understand what you really desire your goals to achieve.

They are good crystals for improving focus and may bring clarity about what you want the future to look like. 

They assist you to fully trust that the way that your life is unfolding is working in your best interests and is helping you to manifest your goals and achieve your desires. 

My final thoughts: I first started using this stone when I broke my wrist almost a decade ago.

While this was my major reason for using it, I soon became aware of its many other qualities as they are good crystals to enhance communication too.

They have many healing qualities including to ease stress and their calming action makes them useful to have in the bedroom to bring relaxation and better sleep.

They are known as crystals that attract luck and boost good fortune, so having them nearby may also encourage improved luck!

They are good crystals for healing fractures of the hand. There are a number of crystals that combine well with them to aid the healing of broken bones.

Some of the strong crystals to help broken bones that you could use with them to boost their energy includes Tigers Eye, Blue Kyanite, Red Calcite, Blue Lace Agate and Lepidolite.

These crystals are strong crown chakra crystals, that have an excellent action to assist clear thinking and encourage heightened Spiritual growth.

This is particularly true of the clear Oligoclase stone. Use them with other crown chakra stones to boost their action in your life.

This includes crystals such as Montebrasite, Snow Quartz and Brandberg Amethyst and Scolecite.

Oligoclase brings an increase of inner peace, happiness and overall calm and tranquil feelings. 

They are good crystals for stress and tension, and have a good action to encourage relaxation and serenity.

Use them with Lepidolite, Lithium Quartz, Amazonite and Pink Tourmaline.

Albite, Sunstone, Rainbow Moonstone and Cleavelandite are all types of feldspar.  The energy of these other feldspar stones will blend well with Oligoclase.
