Dragons Tooth Amethyst have a memorable name but their energy has nothing to do with dragons, but this name may make it easy to remember what they are called.

They are in the Amethyst family and are also a type of Elestial Quartz which means they are high vibration crystals.

Dragons Tooth Amethyst are a type of Elestial Quartz and have a similar energy to other Elestial Quartz, and like other formations of Amethyst Elestial they have a high vibration.

Where Is It Found? Dragons Tooth Amethyst Meaning

Dragons Tooth Amethyst are a variety of Elestial Quartz. They are made from silicon dioxide with the addition of other minerals, which creates the various colors.

They were originally found in the Bahia mine in Brazil. However the mine no longer produces them and is said to be mined out.

They are also called Amethyst Elestial Points or healing spears and while they are now rarer than they were, you can still get these beautiful crystals from suppliers who still have stock. 

They all come in shades of purple, and you can see in the images that some are a lighter bright purple color and others are a deeper purple shade.

Most of these crystals have a long slim formation and many are double terminated. The one above is known as a triplet as it has three points.

Dragons Tooth Amethyst sometimes have transparent sections on them but most are quite opaque.

In addition to Dog Tooth Amethyst, they are also called Amethyst Elestial Points, Healing Spears or Celestial Amethyst.

Regardless of what they are called, be aware that they are not common.

Best Crystals To Use With Dragons Tooth Amethyst

What are the best crystals to use with Dragons Tooth Amethyst. There are a number of crystals and stones below that combine well with them.

These crystals are very high vibration crystals and as they are a type of Elestial Quartz will combine well with any other elestial type or color. 

Many elestials quartz crystals are a smokey color and while these are the most common, there are beautiful Citrine Elestial, Rose Quartz Elestial and Amethyst Elestial Crystals and all work well well when combined with these powerful crystals.

They are quite striking quartz crystals with a dynamic vibration that is extremely beneficial to use in meditation.

While you might choose to use them on their own, they are helpful used with other high crystal energy crystals to make a deeper connection to Spirit.

While they work well with many other crystals, other high vibration varieties of quartz will work particularly well them. 

You may choose to pair them with other strong quartz crystals such as Satyaloka Quartz, Mango Quartz, Rainbow Mayanite or Golden Healer quartz.

You may also find it valuable to use them with other powerful high vibration stones such as Moldavite, Selenite, Libyan Desert Glass or Tiffany Stone.

If you have an interest in specifically using them for healing, you might find it beneficial to combine them with other crystals that embody the violet flame energy.
