Celadonite in Quartz is not found in a lot of locations but it is commonly unearthed in Madagaskar.

This area seems to be a major place where many of the chromium Caledonite crystals come from but it is also found in Italy, Japan, India, Russia, Brazil and in Washington State in the United States.

It is possible to obtain lovely specimens that occur as double terminated crystals and these will make beautiful crystal wands for healers to use.

While some occur as phantom quartz, many are simply inclusions of this mineral in clear quartz or sometimes Snow Quartz also called white quartz.

While most of the quartz that Celadonite occurs within appears to be clear, this mineral may also be found in Golden Healer Quartz - see image shown, but this is not as common as in Clear Quartz Crystal.

It often occurs within beautiful quartz clusters and it is also seen growing in vugs in some locations in the United States.

This mineral is a type of mica that occurs in a range of green colors including apple green, blueish green and a darker olive color.

The occurrence of Celadonite is said to be related to volcanic action, when potassium and iron oxidize to help it's formation.

The mineral Celadonite is also known to be present in both Stilbite and Apophyllite specimens that come from India.
