Pink Apatite is a rather rare variety of the Apatite family. The most common color of Apatite is the blue stone and the blue variety is fairly easy to obtain.

Yellow Apatite, as well as both white and purple colors of this stone are not as common but can be purchased at many crystal stores.

It's color varies from a very pale pink through to a deeper more lavender-pink as well as some orangey-pink colored stone.

The pink stones are not as common as other colors of Apatite, and most pieces are fairly small. Small amounts of gem quality stone has been found in Pakistan.

While they are not common, pieces have been found in Pakistan, Brazil, Colombia and is some place in the United States.
